With its SentryGSM3Alarm at the core, Sentry Telemetry developed a user specific solution. Pre-defined SMS text messages are sent to the duty fire fighters' mobile phones in response to push button inputs to suit the alarm condition. Additionally, alarms can be triggered remotely from a PC.
Following a series of trials with the Fire Service, the bespoke solution has been refined and is now being rolled out as the county-wide standard.
The Fire Service specified various key parameters that were core to providing an easy to use, reliable alarm system:
The SentryGSM3Alarm is a quad band device using a standard GSM SIM card. Its multifunction controller accepts up to four digital (volt free) inputs and has four relay outputs. For each input triggered, up to five combined actions may be programmed.
